- Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level
- Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically
- Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment
- Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
- Assist with Heart Health Diet lectures and videos
- Chart documentation of provided service
- High school diploma/GED required
- Current Exercise Physiologist or fitness instructor certification
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our successful Cardiac Rehab gym. As a Exercise physiologist, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, engage the patients in the rehab protocol and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goal is to join a team of 3 professionals and help patients to achieve fitness objectives of the cardiac rehab protocol. The ideal candidate is a enthusiastic and motivated EP who wants to join a group and continue improving our facility success.
